Annexin A10 Expression Is Associated With Poor Prognosis in Small Bowel Adenocarcinoma

نویسندگان

چکیده

Background/Aim: Small bowel adenocarcinoma (SBA) is a relatively rare malignant epithelial neoplasm. Thus, little known about prognostic biomarkers of SBA. Annexin A10 (ANXA10) member the annexin family. The significance ANXA10 expression in SBA unclear. This first study to examine Materials and Methods: We immunohistochemically evaluated studied relationship between clinicopathological factors. Results: was detected 17 (56.7%) 30 cases significantly associated with poor overall survival. Univariate predictors for prognosis were tumour size (p=0.017) (p=0.026). In multivariate analysis, (p=0.038) (p=0.024) found be independent prognosis. Conclusion: could new biomarker

SIRT1 expression is associated with poor prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma

Several studies have reported that the overexpression of Sirtuin 1 (SIRT1) was associated with poor prognosis in various human cancers. However, little is known regarding the prognostic value of SIRT1 in lung adenocarcinoma. Therefore, the aim of this study is to evaluate the role of SIRT1 in the prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Using a tissue microarray, we detected SIRT1 expression ...

Annexin A10 is a candidate marker associated with the progression of pancreatic precursor lesions to adenocarcinoma

Annexins are a multigene family of calcium and phospholipid-binding proteins that play important roles in calcium signaling, cell motility, differentiation and proliferation. Our previous mass spectrometry-based proteomics study revealed that annexin A10 (ANXA10) was uniquely overexpressed in pancreatic CD24+ adenocarcinoma cells that were dissected from clinical PDAC tissues but was absent in ...

High expression of RACK1 is associated with poor prognosis in patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

Receptor for activated C kinase 1 (RACK1) is associated with certain aspects of cancer biology and signaling pathways, but its function in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) remains unknown. In the present study, 157 patients with PDAC were enrolled. RACK1 mRNA and protein expression levels were analyzed in PDAC tissues and matched adjacent noncancerous tissues by reverse transcription-qua...

Absence of Autophagy-Related Proteins Expression Is Associated with Poor Prognosis in Patients with Colorectal Adenocarcinoma

Background/Aim. Autophagy, a cellular degradation process, has paradoxical roles in tumorigenesis and the progression of human cancers. The aim of this study was to investigate the expression levels of autophagy-related proteins in colorectal cancer (CRC) and to evaluate their prognostic significance. Methods. This study is a retrospective review of immunohistochemical and clinicopathological d...

Decreased Expression of the GATA3 Gene Is Associated with Poor Prognosis in Primary Gastric Adenocarcinoma

BACKGROUND GATA binding protein 3 (GATA3) was recently proposed to function as a tumor suppressor gene in some types of human cancer. This study aims to investigate GATA3 expression and its prognostic significance in primary gastric adenocarcinoma. METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPAL FINDINGS Using real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) and immunohistochemical staining methods, GATA3 expression was analyzed ...
